Festivities begin on the evening of Thursday the 11th of December for a pre-wedding celebration at Blanco guest farm (blanco.co.za/directions). 

 

From 6pm we will be hosting everyone for drinks on the front lawn at Blanco,

and Blanco will be serving their famous roast lamb dinner thereafter.

Whether you are staying at Blanco or not, you are welcome for dinner, which we will be providing.

For those staying at Blanco Guest Farm, there are a host of activities including mountain biking,

hiking, trail running, horse riding, lawn bowls, tennis and a mini golf course.

 Ladies massages are available at Blanco and bookings must be made in good time.

For the avid flyfisherman, bookings can be made to fish the famous Thrift dam.

 

Professional baby-sitting and child-minding facilities for all ages are available at Blanco.

 

Blanco is just 10 minutes drive from Tarkastad, a tiny town with only the bare essentials, including a CO-OP pharmacy,

an ATM, bottle store, gift shop and the Rhino Inn  pub.

 

Should you need to do more extensive shopping, the closest options to Tarkastad

are Queenstown (65km) and Cradock (75km).
